Chapter 167: Remember to Make Him Apologize
Just at that moment, the door of the private dining room was pushed open.
The waiter in front made a respectful gesture of invitation: "This way, gentlemen, please come in."
Several figures slowly entered from outside the door, shifting from blurry to clear until they finally appeared before everyone.
Upon seeing their faces, everyone in the room, with the sole exception of Yun Fu, let out a sharp gasp.
They stared in disbelief at the people who had just appeared, for a moment suspecting they were hallucinating.
Yet no matter how hard they rubbed their eyes, the five figures before them did not vanish.
"God K!"
"Ah! Great Momo!"
"And Great Qingqing!"
"I never thought I'd actually get to see them in this lifetime. Ahhhhh, it really is KDS!"
"Sister Chengyuan is way too amazing."
Regaining their wits, a group of teenage boys turned their heads in unison to look at the person sitting quietly and playing on her phone.
Sensing someone watching her, she raised her eyes slightly, her expression cool and aloof, her movements graceful and poised.
Upon seeing her, Momo let out a howl and lunged forward, swallowing the word "Coach" just in time as it met Yun Fu's gaze, modifying it at the last second into: "Sister Fu."
Even Li Sinian, who was usually pitifully taciturn and famously aloof, wore the expression of an obedient little darling as he walked up to Yun Fu: "Sister Fu."
The other three also obediently walked over to greet her.
Yun Fu nodded lazily, pointing to a chair nearby: "Sit."
The group of teenagers remained in a daze until their idols actually sat down right beside them, only then beginning to snap back to reality.
Xie Chengyuan finally recovered from his shock, gazing in a daze at his sister and the five people interacting with such familiarity.
He opened his mouth several times before finally managing to force out the question—"God K... are you guys friends with my sister?"
The five of them turned their gazes toward him, Momo's shock of golden hair shining even brighter than the smile on his face.
He smiled as he looked Xie Chengyuan up and down: "Of course, we're very good friends. You must be Sister Fu's younger brother?"
"Yes."
"Hello, hello. From now on you can call me Brother Mo, and I'll take you gaming."
Xie Chengyuan was trembling all over with excitement; the idol he had dreamed of meeting just once was now sitting right beside him, and had even offered to take him gaming.
Sob, sob, sob, what kind of wonderful dream was this?
After a while, the teenagers regained their composure, losing the initial shock they had felt.
Two of Xie Chengyuan's friends glanced toward Jin Wei and the others, whose faces were currently livid, and couldn't help letting out a cold snort: "Judged others by their own low standards!"
"Exactly, how do they even have the nerve to stay here?"
The expressions of the others shifted abruptly as well. They had to remember that they, too, had initially come here simply to watch Xie Chengyuan make a fool of himself.
The smartest thing to do now would be to leave, but neither Jin Wei nor his companions made a move to go—they were far too reluctant to miss this rare chance to meet their idols.
Several of the teenagers stood up quite openly and sincerely apologized to Yun Fu and Xie Chengyuan.
"We're sorry, Xie Chengyuan and Sister Yun Fu. We shouldn't have looked down on you; we just found it hard to believe."
"Yes, yes, yes. Sister, please don't hold it against us."
"Sister, in my eyes, you are definitely this right now." A kid stuck out his thumb.
Having observed the scene, the five members of KDS more or less figured out what had transpired.
They couldn't help thinking to themselves: No wonder the coach suddenly allowed us to come over.
Momo, never one to mind a bit of excitement, swept a glance toward Jin Wei's spot: "And to think Sister Fu and I are here, yet these little brats dared to look down on you and you didn't even beat them up."
Yun Fu raised her head lazily, cast a glance over Jin Wei and his group, and curved the corners of her lips: "Minors."
"Oh~ right, there's also the Juvenile Protection Law."
Jin Wei and his friends shuddered. They looked at Yun Fu with unease, firmly believing that had they been of legal age, Yun Fu might well have "finished them off" right outside the hotel entrance.
The boys who had been trailing after Jin Wei abandoned him entirely, stood up in unison, and bowed deeply toward Yun Fu: "Sister Yun Fu, we're sorry!"
They then apologized to Xie Chengyuan as well.
Jin Wei's face was livid. Being at that adolescent stage where he imagined himself to be the greatest person in the world, having his pride crushed like this in public was probably even more agonizing to him than a physical beating.
Sure enough, Jin Wei clenched his teeth, cast a resentful glance in Yun Fu's direction, then looked at the KDS members before finally storming out with red-rimmed eyes.
Resting her chin on her hand, Yun Fu watched his indignant retreating figure and showed not an ounce of sympathy, adding insult to injury: "Xie Chengyuan, remember to make him apologize when school starts."
Jin Wei: "..."
"I'll remember, Sister."
With Jin Wei and his gang gone, Yun Fu signaled the waiter to serve the dishes. Aside from Li Sinian, the rest of the KDS members possessed lively and playful personalities.
Since they were all young guys, it didn't take long for them to all blend in and start playing together.
Watching the radiant, glowing Xie Chengyuan, Yun Fu curled her lip slightly.
Sitting beside her, Li Sinian caught her expression clearly: "Sister Fu, when are you heading back to S City?"
"Tomorrow morning."
"Then we'll go back with you."
"As you like."
This meal lasted a full four hours and finally broke up amidst the lingering reluctance of the group of teenagers.
Thanks to Xie Chengyuan's strict prohibition, no one dared to post anything online about Yun Fu and KDS.
As for Jin Wei and his crew, they certainly wouldn't publish anything that made fools of themselves.
"God K, where are you guys staying?"
"A hotel."
"Oh." Xie Chengyuan's expression instantly turned disappointed.
Yun Fu gave him another languid look. Li Sinian smiled and ruffled his hair: "We'll be troubling you to show us around J City tomorrow then. I heard the seafood here is especially good."
"Deal! I'll show you around tomorrow!"
On the way back, Xie Chengyuan kept chattering away right behind Yun Fu: "Sister, you are seriously too amazing! KDS are actually your friends. You know, there was even a female celebrity who wanted to chase our K once, but she completely ignored her."
Throughout the entire journey, Xie Chengyuan didn't stop talking, giving Yun Fu a headache.
Pushing her patience to its absolute limit—"Shut up!"
However, high on his elated mood, Xie Chengyuan chose to ignore his sister's dark expression and remained bubbling with excitement, to the point where he couldn't sleep the entire night.
The next day, Xie Chengyuan not only took them out for a tour around the city, but even brought them back to his home.
When Mother Xie saw five young, handsome men, she was momentarily flustered.
In the end, thanks to Momo, who was practically a social butterfly incarnate, Mother Xie was coaxed into smiling radiantly.
Upon hearing that they were athletes unable to return home for the New Year because of training, Mother Xie promptly brought out every single stash of food in the house to entertain them.
Her hospitality was beginning to rival Yun Fu's own style.
"Why are you heading back so soon? Tomorrow is only the fourth day of the New Year."
"Can't you stay a few more days? Mom wanted to cook a lot more delicious food for you."
Yun Fu was never one for such sentimental scenes, so she shot a meaningful glance at Xie Chengyuan.
