An Qi Ye was indeed a pitiable fellow.

The GT-R God of War—this was the pinnacle among sports cars. The GT-R was widely recognized as the most cost-effective high-performance sports car, boasting a price of 1.5 million yuan yet delivering performance comparable to European sports cars priced between five to six million. Its performance was undeniably impressive; the GT-R had even entered the exclusive 2-second club.

To call such a car a broken Nissan was, without a doubt, a stroke of absurdity—truly, An Qi Ye was extraordinary in his audacity.

Ye Wen Ze painfully covered his face, fully anticipating the impending outcome. He felt a desperate urge to strangle An Qi Ye. Did this man really know how to race? Did he truly understand?

Under normal circumstances, even if one bought a GT-R God of War, few would dare claim it was better than a Koenigsegg. But who was this person? The son of Jiang Province’s Wealthiest. He must have modified the GT-R God of War extensively. Unless his driving skills were abysmal, An Qi Ye was doomed to lose.

Taking a deep breath, Ye Wen Ze narrowed his eyes slightly and stopped dwelling on these thoughts. He had already made up his mind: if An Qi Ye lost, he would not suffer an unfair defeat.

Looking at An Qi Ye with a scornful gaze, Liu Ran sneered, “An Qi Ye, do you know a certain idiom?”

“An idiom?” An Qi Ye tilted his head slightly, curious.

“‘A monkey wearing a crown,’” Liu Ran said coldly, “What do you think you are? Go home and look it up yourself. What exactly is a GT-R God of War? Do you really think you’ve stepped into the upper echelons of Jiangzhou society? You only got where you are by hitching a ride on your worthless sister’s legs. Who do you think you are?”

“What did you say?” An Qi Ye flared up instantly. “Say that again!”

Ye Wen Ze frowned, his gaze landing on Liu Ran’s face. A flash of icy killing intent flickered and vanished.

“Pfft!” Liu Ran scoffed, unwilling to continue the conversation, and climbed into his car.

An Qi Ye shouted loudly, “Liu Ran, don’t forget our bet: whoever loses stands still and takes ten slaps!”

“Better prepare your face then,” Liu Ran sneered.

This was not the moment for petty quarrels. It was broad daylight and fewer flashy women were around, so no stripping here. The race began as a referee waved the flag sharply.

Whoosh!

The black GT-R God of War shot forward like an arrow released from a bowstring. In an instant, it had already distanced itself from An Qi Ye’s Koenigsegg.

“What?” An Qi Ye was dumbfounded. He hadn’t expected Liu Ran’s speed to be so explosive. Gritting his teeth, he slammed the accelerator, chasing fiercely.

But soon, An Qi Ye realized in terror that he couldn’t catch up. Liu Ran’s speed was terrifyingly swift. Approaching the turn, An Qi Ye instinctively slowed down, but Liu Ran barely eased off at all.

Before long, the two cars had pulled apart significantly. Everyone was stunned. No one expected Liu Ran to be so formidable. Whether at the start or racing flat out, his speed was astonishing. He didn’t look like an amateur but a professional racer.

“Damn, is that really Liu Ran? How old is he? How could someone so young have such incredible racing skills?”

“The GT-R God of War must have been modified by Liu Ran. Tsk tsk, that idiot An Qi Ye actually thought he could beat him? What a joke!”

Meanwhile, deep inside, Liu Ran remained calm. He loved racing—the speed, the passion. The faster he went, the more exhilarated he felt. In the blink of an eye, An Qi Ye was left far behind.

True, An Qi Ye’s car had a significant performance advantage compared to ordinary sports cars. But Liu Ran’s modified GT-R God of War outclassed An Qi Ye’s in every aspect—performance and speed. How could An Qi Ye possibly compete?

“No, no, no!” An Qi Ye’s eyes reddened fiercely. He stomped on the gas pedal with all his might, almost madly accelerating. He had to surpass Liu Ran.

Suddenly, a sharp curve appeared ahead. An Qi Ye’s pupils contracted instantly. Instinctively, he lifted off the gas and slammed the brakes.

The screech of tires rang out. An Qi Ye felt his car nearly lose control, almost flying off a cliff. At that moment, he felt a wetness in his pants—he had nearly pissed himself, terrified by the threat of death.

“How could this happen?” An Qi Ye trembled all over, finally paralyzed by fear. He dared not pursue Liu Ran any further and just drove cautiously.

Whoosh!

Liu Ran sped past the finish line. An Qi Ye looked on angrily, fully aware he had lost—badly. Who would have thought someone so young could possess such terrifying racing skills? It was simply incredible.

Seeing Liu Ran’s victory, Fang Yue let out a slight sigh of relief. She had truly worried about what would happen if Liu Ran lost and had to endure ten slaps.

“An Qi Ye, stand still and hold out your face!” Liu Ran sneered coldly at the finish line.

“Liu Ran, don’t get cocky. Who do you think you are? You dare slap my face?” An Qi Ye got out of the car, furious and flustered. He was nearly insane. Liu Ran’s bravado was unbelievable—no one had guessed his skills were so terrifying.

“What do you mean? A man’s words are like water spilled; once said, you can’t take them back. Are you going to deny it?” Liu Ran sneered.

An Qi Ye took a step back, but out of the corner of his eye, he saw Ye Wen Ze walking toward him. At that moment, he felt a sudden relief. Looking up at Liu Ran, he said, “What bet? I never agreed to any bet. Liu Ran, are you crazy?”

Liu Ran’s smile froze, then he broke into an even brighter grin. “So you refuse to admit it!”

“Admit what?” An Qi Ye feigned ignorance, acting dumb and innocent.

“Admit that I’m your master!” Liu Ran suddenly moved. No one expected it—he struck swiftly. The slap landed hard on An Qi Ye’s face.

Smack!

The sharp, loud slap echoed. An Qi Ye staggered back three or four steps, stunned by the sudden blow. After a long moment, he seemed to snap out of it and suddenly threw a punch at Liu Ran’s face.

Bang!

Liu Ran took the hit but was no pushover. Immediately, he charged forward, attacking An Qi Ye fiercely. But An Qi Ye was no match for Liu Ran on the track, yet in terms of physical strength, Liu Ran was no match for him.

In moments, Liu Ran had taken several punches, and he landed several slaps on An Qi Ye.

“Hold him back! Damn it, Liu Ran, I’m not done with you today. I’ll settle all my humiliations with you right now!” An Qi Ye roared madly.

The surrounding rich kids dared not intervene. Everyone knew Liu Ran’s background, and no one wanted to cross Liu Rui.

Ye Wen Ze lifted his chin slightly. Two burly men immediately grabbed Liu Ran from both sides. An Qi Ye swung wide and slapped Liu Ran hard again.

“Damn it, Liu Ran! I’ll teach you a lesson for being so arrogant!”

Smack! Smack!

Some subordinates watching wanted to rush in to help Liu Ran, but as soon as they moved, Ye Wen Ze kicked them aside.

“An Qi Ye, you dare hit me?” Liu Ran stared angrily.

“I’m hitting you all right. I’m going to cripple you!” An Qi Ye punched wildly, landing a blow on Liu Ran’s face. Blood spilled from Liu Ran’s bitten lip.

“Stop! Stop, all of you!” Fang Yue shouted urgently.

No one paid her any heed. They didn’t take a woman seriously, believing she posed no real threat.

They were soon proven gravely wrong.

Smash!

A bodyguard holding Liu Ran flew back—Fang Yue had punched him hard. The other bodyguard froze in shock, but Fang Yue was relentless, landing another punch. The bodyguard quickly released Liu Ran’s arms and crossed them over his chest, trying to block Fang Yue’s attacks.

But—

Crack!

The sound of breaking bones was clear. The bodyguard staggered back, blood spewing from his mouth, his arms hanging uselessly—Fang Yue had broken both his arms.

After being injected with human serum, Fang Yue’s strength rivaled the limits of external cultivators. Though Chen Feng hadn’t taught her any martial arts, her sheer physical power was beyond most. Even ordinary warriors were no match for her.

“Damn it!” Ye Wen Ze cursed, surprised by Fang Yue’s terrifying combat ability. He charged at her. This woman’s strength was impressive—this could add some spice to their time in bed later.

Whoosh!

Seeing Ye Wen Ze rushing toward her, Fang Yue’s expression shifted slightly. Just as she prepared to dodge, the roar of a car engine filled the air. An Audi came speeding in, heading straight for Ye Wen Ze.

Chen Feng had arrived!
