Lianhua Hospital

Chen Feng washed the blood from his hands and looked at his parents lying on the hospital bed, letting out a quiet sigh of relief. Their injuries were not too serious, but it would still take some time for them to recover.

“Chen—Chen Feng, what are we going to do?” Fang Yue looked at Chen Feng anxiously. “You—you killed someone, and you—you attacked the police!”

“It’s alright,” Chen Feng gently ruffled Fang Yue’s hair, smiling as he spoke. “Nothing will happen.”

Fang Yue’s face showed clear fear as she looked up at Chen Feng and whispered, “But—but the police will arrest you. They won’t let you go.”

Seeing Fang Yue still so worried about him at a time like this, Chen Feng felt a warmth bloom in his chest. “Don’t worry, I’ll be fine. I’m only sixteen years old this year. Even if they arrest me, they won’t sentence me to death.”

Fang Yue looked at him with lingering concern, her lips parting as if to say something, but finally falling quiet. Chen Feng sighed softly and said, “Really, don’t worry about me.”

Just then, Chen Feng’s phone rang again. He picked it up, and Xiao Yu’s voice came through. “Chen Feng, which room are you in at Lianhua Hospital? I’ll be there in ten minutes!”

Chen Feng quickly gave her the room number.

Beep... beep...

Xiao Yu hung up, and Chen Feng shrugged at Fang Yue. “It’s fine now. Someone is helping me. I don’t think there will be any real trouble.”

Fang Yue was still worried as she gazed at him. Chen Feng looked back at her and asked, “But what about you? Don’t you need to go home?”

“It’s fine. I’ve already told my family. They won’t interfere with me,” Fang Yue replied softly, then looked at Chen Feng again with concern. “Are you sure you’ll be alright?”

Chen Feng smiled. “Don’t worry. At worst, I’ll have to spend a few years inside.”

Though he sounded relaxed, Chen Feng himself felt far from certain. He didn’t know just how much influence Xiao Yu could wield behind the scenes. He chose to trust her partly because the Juvenile Protection Law was on his side—so long as he survived, he still had hope for the future.

“But if I really do go to prison and Xiao Yu isn’t able to protect me and my family, then wouldn’t Luo Wenhao’s father come after those close to me?”

“No, that won’t happen! If Xiao Yu dares to challenge Luo Yongjiang, it means she’s confident she can protect my family. Maybe not me, but at least my family.”

“But what if—just what if...”

For a moment Chen Feng’s mind was in utter turmoil, yet in front of Fang Yue he forced himself to appear composed and confident. He couldn’t let her worry, nor could he let his parents worry.

Extraction System.

A thought flashed through Chen Feng’s mind, and he quickly opened the Extraction System.

“My achievement points have gone up by more than twenty!” Chen Feng looked at the operation interface, surprise flickering across his face. He hadn’t expected to gain so many achievement points from these events.

As he stared in surprise, the points increased by another one. Since receiving the Extraction System, Chen Feng had done quite a bit of research. The achievement points he gained weren’t awarded all at once. When everyone was amazed by his achievements, there would be a big jump in points, but even afterwards, whenever people mentioned him, points would still trickle in. If word spread, the points would increase accordingly.

Of course, the increments would be smaller.

“What a pity,” Chen Feng sighed. Although he’d gained a lot of achievement points today, it looked like he’d have to miss the exams. If he’d been able to take them at school, he would probably have earned a lot more. If he’d been able to take the college entrance exam early and caused a sensation, he would have gained even more points.

“But now isn’t the time to think about that!” Chen Feng shook his head. A new thought came to him: this situation hadn’t blown up yet. If it did, how many achievement points would he gain?

If that happened, his points might surpass four hundred, and then he could directly extract the complete Super Soldier Serum.

“With the complete Super Soldier Serum, escaping from prison wouldn’t be impossible. If I remember right, with Captain America’s physique, even bullets couldn’t kill him. If things go badly for me, I might as well just break out—then kill Luo Wenhao’s entire family!”

A cold murderous intent flickered in Chen Feng’s eyes. Having planned his next move, he let go of his worries and felt a strange calm.

Ten minutes later, at Lianhua Hospital—

A blue Lamborghini pulled up in the parking lot. Xiao Yu stepped out, her long, shapely legs and slender, graceful figure, paired with exquisite features, making her look like a goddess.

She was wearing oversized sunglasses as she exited the car, making people want to remove them just to see the beauty hidden beneath.

“Xiao Yu?” Just then, a surprised voice sounded nearby.

Xiao Yu paused, looking toward the source. She saw Lu Rui getting out of another BMW with his son. She, too, looked a little surprised. “Mr. Lu, what brings you here?”

Lu Rui was momentarily taken aback, then replied politely, “I’m here to visit a friend. And you?”

Xiao Yu smiled lightly. “Me too.”

The two exchanged smiles. Lu Rui looked at Xiao Yu with genuine admiration. She was an extraordinary woman—within just a few years, she had amassed a fortune through her own abilities. Though he was the richest man in Jiangzhou, that had taken generations of accumulation and family support, while Xiao Yu had built everything from scratch and was now a member of the city’s elite.

If their positions were reversed, Lu Rui doubted he could have done as well. From his perspective, he truly admired her. She possessed a keen business sense and could seize any opportunity—something even he had to admit he lacked.

“Hello, Sister Xiao Yu!” Lu Ran greeted warmly from the side.

“Hello,” Xiao Yu replied, glancing at Lu Ran in surprise. “Mr. Lu, has your son recovered from his anorexia? Was it the doctors here at Lianhua Hospital?”

“No, actually,” Lu Rui said with a relieved smile. “You probably won’t believe it, but my son’s condition improved after he ate a certain food.”

“What?” Xiao Yu was startled. Chen Feng’s image flashed through her mind. Instinctively, she asked, “Was it... the urine-soaked beef balls?”

“Haha! You guessed it!” Lu Rui laughed. “That’s right—it was the urine-soaked beef balls.”

Xiao Yu took a deep breath. “Mr. Lu, don’t tell me you’re here to find someone named Chen Feng?”

“How did you know?” Lu Rui stared in surprise. “Are you here for him too?”

“Let’s go together then!” Xiao Yu gave Lu Rui a bright smile. She hadn’t expected Lu Rui to personally come looking for Chen Feng, and all because of those bizarre beef balls.

While Lu Rui and Xiao Yu were heading upstairs, outside Lianhua Hospital, several armored vehicles suddenly pulled up. Armed soldiers jumped down from the vehicles—at least a dozen in all.

“Mr. Luo!” one of the men called, hurrying to Luo Yongjiang’s side.

It was Captain Yue Lin from the Jiangzhou Armed Police Unit.

“Captain Yue,” Luo Yongjiang’s face was grim. Not long ago, he had seen his son’s corpse—half his skull smashed by Chen Feng, with his shin twisted at an unnatural angle. He’d been suppressing his rage for a long time.

The police hadn’t spent much effort to find Chen Feng’s whereabouts. Following the clues, they had quickly located him at Lianhua Hospital. Because of Chen Feng’s terrifying lethality, the authorities had dispatched the Armed Police.

Yue Lin was in charge of the operation.

“This Chen Feng—I’ve heard of him,” Luo Yongjiang said through gritted teeth, his voice hoarse. “Can you kill him on the spot?”

Yue Lin was taken aback. “Mr. Luo, that’s...”

“That kid isn’t even eighteen yet!” Luo Yongjiang rasped. “He won’t be sentenced to death. I want him dead—immediately. I want him to accompany my son to the grave. Every second he lives is like a dozen knives twisting in my heart. He must die, and his whole family too!”

Hearing Luo Yongjiang’s harsh words, Yue Lin shivered involuntarily. “Mr. Luo, that’s... difficult. Before I came, higher-ups warned me not to...”

“If you do it, I’ll give you five million. Right now...” Luo Yongjiang’s eyes gleamed with murderous intent. “I want him dead!”
